i was one of the seniors' group, so the hike to the gorillas family was very short (about 20 minutes one way), the experience is exceptional and justifies the price, the guides do a great job and the… מוטי ל的完整评论

Do you need gaiters? I have seen some places say absolutely yes and others no. I am confused!

Hi All - quick rundown - I want to go from Entebbe by 4WD to Bwindi Forest. I arrive Entebbe 3.20 p.m. so thinking to go straight from there as far as Mbarara and stay the night and go to Lake Mburo NP next day before heading to Kisoro to stay the night. Next day I would like to do the Gorillas trek - possibly two days in a row but this may be out of my budget - do you have to pay the $600 twice? Then I need to go to Kigali. Is it possible to catch a (cheap) bus from Kisoro to Kigali. I am on a fairly strict budget and only have 7 days in Uganda/Rwanda before heading to Ethiopia for two weeks. Thanks in advance for your invaluable help and advice. Cheers. Jill

Thanks everyone for your responses. OK so I will just do the trek with the gorillas once. And I am sorry - I think it is the way I worded it - but no I do not want to hire a 4WD - I want to join a group that picks up at Entebbe airport and takes us to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest for a one day hike to the gorillas. Are there such tours? I am assuming they will stay at Kisoro. Then I can make my way to the border and enter Rwanda. Thanks everyone!
Hi, I am thinking of doing two gorilla treks but am unsure weather to have a day off in between in case we have a long day on the first day. I'm 58, not super fit but not unfit. What would you suggest?

Hi, we were very lucky, we found the gorillas in 20 minutes! Awesome to be so close to them. If you plan on doing 2 treks it would probably be a good idea to have a day in between though. Your guide could probably advise you the best though because they know exactly where the gorillas were the day before and maybe you will get lucky like we were! Have a great time.
