if you ferried to Spanish Wells told arrive at 1030am and have to leave at 430pm on the Bahamas ferries. from there you'd take a smaller ferry (5mins- leaving all the time $5 o/w) to Eleuthera. arrange a rental car ($110 for the day) ahead of time you meet you at Gene's dock where the ferry lands. You could probably get halfway down the island and back whole takimg short deliberate stops along the way.

We flew on Pineapple Air to get to Eleuthera. It was about a 20 min flight and we did not hear about a ferry. The Glass Window Bridge is NOT worth the trip. There are more chickens …
