There is a parking lot directly behind the buildings in front of the Theater and one behind the Treater. Since we were attending a concert and eating afterwards, we paid for 4 hours with a cost of $12.00. I know a few things have happened in this area, which is so sad, but I never feel unsafe in this district of Charlottesville. It's a great mall to eat and shop or simply take a stroll. If you are lucky enough to find parking on the streets, they are short & at the mall entrances, so also safe. The area itself is a safe area.
