What's the road like to get there? Just went on a (aborted) trip to lara beach to see the turtle eggs, but the road there was sooooo not suited to a Ford focus. Heard places like adonis falls are a no go to drive unless you have a 4x4 and good insurance Many thanks in advance

The road is OK. We went there even in winter and it was fine for our Opel Corsa. Just remember - left hand drive :-)

Jubilee Hotel perfect base and in summer, cool and smells of pine forest an escape from the heat! On average I spend three days in Troodos most visits
