USMNT midfielders Christian Pulisic and Yunus Musah's spots in AC Milan's starting lineup could be at risk as head coach Sergio Conceicao seeks to get their season back on track

New York Red Bulls academy product Astin Mbaye has signed with Italy Serie A giants AC Milan, a source confirmed to ESPN.

The American international's game time has reduced over the past weeks, and Concacaf Nations League is just around the corner

The United States Men's National Team captain has not scored from open play in Serie A since Oct. 6, 2024. He played the full 90 minutes against Torino, but his 58 touches only led to a single shot attempt — the penalty he had saved in the 32nd minute.

Pulisic played an integral role in helping AC Milan even make it out of the Champions League league phase. The 26-year-old scored four goals throughout the Rossoneri's European campaign, the most in a single season by any American player in the competition's history. He also recorded two goals in AC Milan's winning-Italian Super Cup campaign.

AC Milan have reportedly signed U.S. youth international Astin Mbaye from the New York Red Bulls academy. The 16-year-old has an EU passport, allowing him to leave at that age for the Italian. Several other teams in Europe were chasing his signature,
