After more than 80 years, national fabric and craft retailer Joann is another step closer to being erased from shopping centers across the U.S. after the release of nearly 800 locations going up for sale in the coming months.

Joann's has two stores in the Triad, located at 4644 W Market St. in Greensboro in the Shoppes on Market and at Winston Salem at 3208 Silas Creek Pkwy in Silas Creek Crossing.

The auction results that put Joann's assets under new ownership has been approved as the retailer plans to close its more than 800 stores.
