As Amazon continues growing its sports broadcasting efforts, NASCAR has joined the Prime Video portfolio. As with their NBA and NFL coverage, they're working to recruit some big names in broadcasting and their latest pickup is the biggest yet.

Carl Edwards, who was recently inducted into the NASCAR Hall of Fame, just announced plans to become part of Amazon Prime Video's racing coverage this summer. In his time since he abruptly walked away from racing after nearly winning the 2016 Cup Series title,

The 28-time Cup Series winner who largely stayed away after retiring in 2017 will return to the spotlight with Amazon's broadcast team.
