The Iowa man claims he was swimming with Sudiksha Konanki at night when a big wave pulled them under, according to a transcript.

The Iowa native says he has been cooperating with authorities as they continue the search for the 20-year-old Indian national.

Spring breaker Sudiksha Konanki was last seen with Rock Rapids, Iowa native Joshua Riibe before her disappearance on March 6.
