Electrek reports that Cybertruck customers awaiting their deliveries are generally kept in the dark regarding what the actual issue is. However, it appears some Tesla representatives have shared that deliveries are delayed due to an issue with the Cybertruck's "cantrail trim."

It comes amid numerous instances of build quality issues with the Cybertruck and marks the latest problem plaguing the once promising vehicle.

At least eight would-be owners have reported a delay, and one indicates that the problem is a trim piece other owners have seen fly off at speed.
