The brand new model of MAX train has officially launched on the rails, servicing TriMet riders for the first time Thursday morning.

Two of TriMet’s newest Type 6 MAX trains, manufactured by Siemens Mobility, have entered regular service in Portland, Oregon.

It can be carried up the stairs/through a train station ... t spent time designed this like Pure Electric has done with the Pure Air Pro. The Decent One Max is really, really easy to use.

The Type 6 MAX trains are the agency’s most advanced ... TriMet plans to donate one of the Type 1 trains to the Oregon Electric Railway Museum in Brooks, Ore., for preservation.
