Hundreds of thousands of state employees across the U.S. are being ordered back into the office as governors move to shadow President Trump’s mandate for federal workers.

In the past week, workers for several state agencies received e-mails about changes to work-from-home policies. The messages are raising questions among many state employees asking if they will soon have to go back to work in the office for their respective agency.
