2023年8月6日 · Everytime I'm on the highway and there is a traffic congestion, accident or some delay in the road, Apple maps zooms all the way out to view the entire route. Once we past the traffic jam, the maps stays zoomed out until you have to turn off.

I can zoom out two levels to have everything as expected, but zooming out a third step does not work: after a few seconds the zoom level goes back to maximum. As I press the minus button, the maps starts to zoom out, then immediately zooms back in. I can get a little bit of relief by asking Siri to zoom out, but it does not zoom out as far as it used to do.

Case solved — I have to tap 3D button while I’m not all the way zoomed out, then I can go see the globe. If I zoom out all the way in 2D mode it’s stuck at flat.

2023年4月15日 · It must depend on location because I live in northern New Jersey (United States) and the satellite imagery in my area is only a year or so old. I can tell based on images of construction projects in the area. So true! If you look over Dubai quite zoomed out in satellite, the city looks like it did over 15 years ago.
