I pull the pen out of the cup, click or twist the mechanism to extend the tip, and there it is, waiting to smear on the paper. This is common problem. When I push down on the click mechanism the pen doesn't make a sound but it does engage and will stay out but when I push the click again it won't retract. If I push on the tip it will go back in the pen but obviously this isn't ideal.

2019年11月11日 · It's when the pen is pressed fully together that the twist mechanism does not work. The picture is of how far the pen needs to be pulled apart before the mechanism begins to work. If the pen is pressed together as per normal, the barrel just spins and does not engage the transmission. Sorry if I was not clear before.

2019年3月13日 · I find that unless the pen is specifically designed to be posted, when the cap is attached the length of the pen becomes excessive, giving a very off balance feel. Generally, if it is designed to be posted, then the body is much shorter. This allows the pen to be the right length when posted but to short when not posted.
