2014年1月4日 · I'm planning on making a surprise basketball cake for my brother's birthday. Will be my first time making a cake like this and don't want to screw it. My question is, how do I get basketball color on both Italian meringue and MMF. Here is a pic of what I want the cake to look like. Other kind of ideas and/or suggestions welcome too.

2009年3月14日 · Another cool trick is after you apply the texture, brush the fondant with brown powdered food coloring/petal dust ~ it gives the basketball a really authentic look. (That's what I did when I made my basketball cookies.) I'm constantly amazed at what you can use for texture - seems like the possibilites are endless.
