Here's a few extracts from the Evert / Navratilova book "The Rivals"; Evert requested an introduction to Lloyd after reading a newspaper interview he had given a few weeks prior to the 1978 Wimbledon tournament. Lloyd talked about how the constant travel on tour made having a personal life difficult.
