The CD drawer is now perpendicular to the desk and the four white rubber feet on the desk surface. Haven't heard the noise since I have done this. Been about 4 months and no noise.

2019年12月25日 · Either way, there is a level of "loud" that is objectively not how the device should sound. I just bought a second and it is loud, hence my presence in this thread. It vibrates when the fan spins up to max. The first is like 2 years old and it is quiet as a mouse. I just tested them both on the Air Fry and Broil settings for 10 minutes.

Although I only had this problem with specific game discs, usually PS5 games, it was so loud for my GOW Ragnarok disc it worried me everytine it spun up. This brought it back to acceptable noise levels. Not as quiet as some discs, but acceptable.

I'm shocked that Dell UK Support had a permanently broken tech support number as their only official contact point, but I imagine it makes the quality numbers look amazing when nobody can even report things not working.

2021年12月19日 · What I DO hear is the sound of your microphone picking up room noise, including fans. If the buzz is worst for loud sounds, it is probably clipping (aka peaking) rather than hum. Hum would usually be most obvious during quiet parts.

Just installed mine and also had pump noise issues. A loud whine, even just under slight load. Installed the 3-way cable instead of the all in one and adjusted the pump curve to pretty much 40-50% all the way. Reached ~4500RPM before, just over 2000 now and it‘s gotten a lot better. Also didn’t really notice a temperature impact either.

2023年4月30日 · Actually backwards. The noise of a fan is non-linear as the RPM increases. This means that 6 fans spinning at 40% speed will not produce as much noise as 3 fans spinning at 80% speed. You can reduce noise by increasing fans while decreasing the speed they need to spin to move the same amount of air through the case.

2021年7月29日 · Try the silent mode in Armoury crate and whisper mode in Nvidia it will make less loud. if this does not work you can change the power plan maximum CPU usage to 99 or 98% instead of 100% and you will have less heat and less noise just pay attention to change it for the current power plan so it works.
