Is it okay to repair the EA app from control panel, what does this do? Thanks.

so I've been trying to repair the game on EA App, but the manage options doesn't have the repair options. My game has been broken for a while and I need to fix this.

I've been having an issue where the EA app constantly needs to be repaired and won't launch properly (or crashes and then won't restart properly).

@AgentButterfly25 Try moving the entire Mods folder to the desktop and allowing the game to create a new one. If that doesn't help, download a fresh copy of one mod or cc item confirmed compatible with patch 1.96 and add it to the new Mods folder, but nothing else, and test. If that doesn't help either, let me know what antivirus you use.

The only two things I didn't do was repair or reinstall my game because I didn't know how to do it. So can someone help me with this problem and tell me how to reinstall my game without loosing all my data.
