Many times I have accepted a long pick-up on Lyft and have done an Uber trip in the middle to off set the distance of the marginal Lyft pick-up and make it more profitable.

2024年4月17日 · New York State and New York City have different regulations and are almost like two different states from a rideshare perspective. Nobody but NYC drivers can pick someone up in NYC. NYC drivers are only supposed to be able to pick up in NJ if the destination is NYC. I've heard that Uber enforces that and Lyft doesn't.

I personally wouldnt even use uzurv with lyft either. I have done probably 3 lyft prearranged rides since then but really try not to cause apparently my account is flagged.

2017年8月24日 · I live in Queens, close to the Nassau border, so I applied for permission to drive for Lyft & Uber using my regular license on Long Island. I'm still pending with Uber, but I was approved by Lyft. When I opened the driver app, I was surprised that it showed the queues at LGA & JFK because I thought you had to be TLC to pick up at LGA & JFK.

2018年7月11日 · Lyft you can pick up anywhere except NYC and I think Washington state. I have a Florida tag and license and do both uber and lyft here in jersey. Uber you have to go through the background check to drive in another state but you can still drive in your current state until it goes through it seems.

2018年7月7日 · He told me that he was at the Uber pick-up zone just off of 55th and Phinney, which is where he was told to go to get an Uber. I told him I'd be there in two minutes, and low and behold, they were standing by a sign that said "Uber/Lyft pick-up zone". I suspect that this is a Zoo thing, since it refers to both Uber and Lyft.
