2014年5月29日 · Ain't that the truth. I get 50-52 mpg on my 2010 Jetta in the summer driving about 60mph, drops down to 47-48 in the winter. I drive over the coast range in OR every day for work so its not flat road all the way. Tillamook to Vancouver a 95 miles run one way. My wifes 2009 is a DSG and she gets way less MPG like the low 40's but she is a masher.

2008年5月27日 · Good quality diesel: Find the station that gives you the best MPG, and stick with it. Some stations just seem to do better than others. I haven't had good luck with bio blends. Driving habits: My drive is 75% or more interstate at 65 mph. Dropping down from 70 gives me about 2 MPG on average over a tank.

2013年12月22日 · I had a 2005.5 Jetta and I hit 48 - 52 MPG doing 75, hand calculated all the time, now have a 2015 Passat and it gets around 42 - 46 MPG on the same trip from Blaine Wa to Spokane. Why don't the cars between my old 2005.5 and my 2015 Passat get the better mileage? I would think a smaller, lighter Golf would get more than 40 MPG. Just curious.

2017年8月26日 · New 2015 Jetta EA288 Engine Hi, Brand new here and thought I'd post my two cents..... I just purchased one of the "new" 2015 Jetta TDIs with the EA288 engine. First trip was a 900 mile round trip Lubbock, TX to Pueblo, CO. I got 50.6 MPG with the 6 speed auto, running 75 mph roughly. A/C was on about 1/2 the time.

Before I bought the diesel Jetta I had read a report where someone tried several of the different high mileage vehicles on the freeway at 75 mph and the TDI won with 48.5 mpg. I cannot find it now, but here is an article which talks about 52.5 mpg on the highway.
