2024年4月10日 · Most of the Wildcats’ home football games will be played at the enhanced Martin athletics facility. Other teams, including the national title-winning lacrosse team and both women’s and men’s soccer, also will play there. Northwestern’s field hockey team will continue to play at nearby Lakeside Field.

2024年8月8日 · Bridging the gap between the old Ryan Field and the new state-of-the-art stadium, which is scheduled to open in 2026, the facility will create a home field on campus for the Wildcats — including bleachers and enclosed box seats with a capacity of approximately 12,000 — with expansive views of Lake Michigan and the Chicago skyline.

Ryan Fieldhouse's distinctive dome shape is based on football punting and kicking trajectories, with the peak of the dome reaching 87 feet above the turf field. Maximizing its location on the shores of Lake Michigan, the facility features a 44-foot-tall glass façade providing clear views to the north and east.

2024年4月12日 · Northwestern announced on Wednesday that they will build a temporary stadium on the lakefront to host football games for the 2024 and 2025 seasons, while Ryan Field is under construction. It will be swiftly constructed before the 2024 season opener on Aug. 31, and then disassembled when the new Ryan Field is ready in 2026.
